Look at my NEW car, everybody!

music: Delta Goodrem - Innocent Eyes

What is it with some Indians and their stupid habit of leaving the plastic sheets on their spanking new cars? It drives me up the wall. Is it because they want to show off to everyone, "look, I bought a new car!"? It can't be laziness - that's just too weak an excuse. And some of them keep it on for months.

Needless to say, plastic is not comfortable to sit on at all. If you live in a hot and dusty city like Delhi or Bombay, your seats get hotter even faster thanks to the plastic. They also retain a lot of dust.

Most importantly, it makes you look like a class-conscious retard.

Do us all a favour. Take off the damn plastic sheets and let's feel the fabric on the seats.

(Don't even get me started on people who cover their sofas with cheap cloth to "protect" the sofa. Grrr!)

LOL!
I tend to get pissed off at similar things and often wonder if I'm overreacting -- it's good to know that I have company!!

Then what was the 'No,' for?
Sorry!! I seem to have a bad track record with the negatives. I actually had to count them for even/odd value when I read Jane Austen!!

"No" was for the "often wonder if I'm overreacting" statement. ;)

As in "No, you're not over-reacting. You and I seem to get pissed of at similar things."

Sorry for the confusion. I just read the sentence in a different order in my mind.
